Twenty-five grams of flaxseed a day keeps the doctor away. Well, not quite, but it has been determined that flaxseed can lower tumor markers.
Studies show that consumption of 25 grams of flaxseed a day has the potential to reduce tumor growth in patients with breast cancer. Patients with other hormonal cancers have also been helped by flax. Read more here.

After being dumped before his wedding, I Do Now I Don’t founder, Joshua Opperman, discovered that the jeweler he purchased his fiancee’s engagement ring from did not offer refunds, and 35 percent was the most he was going to get back on the purchase price through other avenues.

“Happy is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.” Proverbs 3:13-15
Think about that last line: “…all the things you may desire cannot compare with her (wisdom).” Why is that so? If you think about the benefits of wisdom and the cost of folly, it all makes sense. Read the rest of this entry »
