Lessons from “The Beav”

A funny thing happened while I was washing the dishes this morning. Okay, it really wasn’t funny but I needed a decent opening line. Anyway, while I was washing the dishes, I caught the tail end of Leave it to Beaver. Beaver had joined a record club and got in over his head. I mean it was so easy. The records just kept coming and he had all this spendable cash on hand because he hadn’t paid for any of it yet. You don’t have to look very far to know that a lot of people are out of work or struggling to get by. It may even be happening to you.
