Call me sentimental, but I am attached to my organs and I’m not in a hurry to give any of them up at a doctor’s request. Every organ serves a purpose and when it comes to female organs the purpose of  the uterus goes far beyond temporary housing for an unborn child.

In spite of medical advancements hysterectomy has become a routine procedure especially once a woman’s childbearing years are considered complete. Kind of like tossing the empty milk carton out of the fridge, all used up and no longer necessary, but that my lady friends is a misconception. Read the rest of this entry »
