Big Thighs, Little Thighs…

My daughter nodded in agreement. “They are cute now, but she’s going to hate them when she grows up.”

Estrogen, flaxseed, and Breast Cancer

Twenty-five grams of flaxseed a day keeps the doctor away. Well, not quite, but it has been determined that flaxseed can lower tumor markers.

Studies show that consumption of 25 grams of flaxseed a day has the potential to reduce tumor growth in patients with breast cancer.  Patients with other hormonal cancers have also been helped by flax. Read more here.

Did You Know…?

blog did you know milk imageDid you know that many people diagnosed as lactose intolerant can drink raw milk without the side effects they experience from processed milk?

To date there are no scientific studies that have been done to prove this, but with so much politics in research anyway, I believe that the proof is in the personal results. And I’ve heard it from the horse’s mouth, the lactose intolerant, that they can indeed consume raw milk without suffering physical consequences. Read the rest of this entry »
